I FOUND SOIL!!! It's looking loads better with that in. The only stuff I could find was some expensive organic stuff so I 'acquired' some mole hills to mix in with it and bulk it out a bit
Spent this afternoon blocking off the back of the enclosure and fastening down all the mesh. It's now escape proof and dog proof apart from one edge near the path. I've put a couple of hides in and they've got a couple of raised areas. Had a funny moment this week, one of the the terriers has taken to climbing on top of the enclosure and must have walked across a bit of mesh I hadn't attached and fallen through, the mesh had sprung back into place and I came down to find her trapped in the tort enclosure looking all sad lol. Serves her right the little madam. She will be used as my official tester of dog proof-ness before the torts go in. If she can't find a way in then no one will!
