Thank you alison and Ooo no I didn't weigh them I just cleaned them and put them straight in the incubator, ill weigh them over the weekend x

You should see chalking about a week after being laid if they are fertile.
I have some boxie eggs in my incubator, and I can see that some are still pinky and some are chalky white. This is with the naked eye and no torch, just peeping at the eggs.

Thankyou ladies for responding, so do you know what is the dark areas are on the eggs? And what is blob and lines in egg no.3 I'm concerned it may be cracked inside, and if it is I need to try and sort it out unless it is a bad egg x

They don't need to be, I just weigh them at the same time that I wash and mark them, I keep detailed records of who laid what and the weight as it is interesting seeing the variation between the females.
