Default Identifying Spur Thigh Subspecies

I am keen to learn more about the current subspecies of Spur Thighed tortoises and to access any resources that may help me to properly identify my own tort.

I hear that EgyptianDan is the man!

Any expertise would be gratefully received!

Chris.

That's a loaded question Right now there are 10 recognized subspecies of Testudo graeca. They are:

Testudo graeca graeca
Testudo graeca soussensis
Testudo graeca marokkensis
Testudo graeca nabeulensis
Testudo graeca cyrenaica
Testudo graeca ibera
Testudo graeca terrestris
Testudo graeca buxtoni
Testudo graeca armeniaca
Testudo graeca zarudnyi

If you post pictures here http://www.shelledwarriors.co.uk/for...splay.php?f=32
I can give a go at telling you the subspecies

Danny
