no hun its just i like sticking to my russian names and theres a
few i like so im trying to make my mind up .. i already have dmitri and luba im sure ill have there names sorted for my new 1`s by the end of the day .. luv becks xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I can't remember where I got this link - it might have even been on this forum - but it provides hours of fun with names (look under the category of Names from the Former Soviet Union, and then under Russian names and there are huge lists of names with their meanings):

But also don't forget that the best name for a Russian tortoise is probably Stan (because they don't actually come from Russia but from all the 'stans' (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kyrghestan, Kazakhstan, etc.). |
