A good question, I took my older for a short walk last year few times when she was 6 months old, but not for long. It seems to be very happy and growing well inside. They walk when in new places to explore and find a safe place to stay, that what I am thinking.
You can take it out but supervise all the time, and only in hot weather.

I wouldn't suggest it. Stars seem to be one of those species that do not normally do well outdoors even as adults.
Let it settle in and let you learn it's habits and behavior a little more before you experiment.

I would'nt put a baby Star out yet, in my opinion its still too cold for them, Hermanns etc can go out now without any problems but Stars are different. My older Stars where out when it was really warm last year in June and they did enjoy it but you do have to be careful with Stars.
