Hi Lucy272, Looks like you got it all covered. You need a thermometer, but I understand you have dry vivaruim controller, so temps will be ok. What you going to feed your star, some weeds is ideal for first few months, I fed my Mitha weed only diet for 6 months from the day we brought her home, with Nutrabol on top. They grow very slow and most precious for them daily bath and good rest.
You wil need electonic scales, check weight every one- two weeks. Would love to see photos of your new baby.

Hi, There Slender Plantain, dead Nettle and Just grass (how I call it) available. Dandelion leaf once every two days with nutrabol, they love it. Soon there will be speedwell and Clover still available. Here is photo of my star 6 months old

The day I got her

I was worrying sick keeping her on the table from the beginning, and we somehow survived, 100W ceramic heater our best friend. And still it is.

I'm probably sounding really stupid, but do you just pick your weeds.

If I can't find any is there anything I can get in shops.

You can just pick the weeds if you want hun, otherwise you can buy weed seeds from the SW shop on here and grow them inside or outside!! I love growing my own food for my little tort

your list is good, remember daily baths (tort not you).

I use Komodo Dandelion pelletts twice a week from good reptile shops, french or italian salad from supermarkets (look for escarole) 2 /3 times a week and 1x amonth grated carrot and 3 days use weeds. That way you still have a variety of food untill the weeds really get going in the spring.

Just setting up my viv now.

I have bought a exo terra cermaic heater, but an Arcadia ceramic heater bracket. Is this ok to use these together or should I get the exo terra wire holder.

I think ExoTerra ceramic lamp should be fine wirh Arcadia bracket, just make sure there is plenty of ventilation and temps stay at 32- 34C at hottest spot. How your viv climate, how are temps at both hot and cold ends? Also coco cave may be outgrown fast, and you will need to change it for bigger hide, look at log hides, Hubba hut. there different sizes available.
