I have been thinking about the post Bindi made below.


Right, I'm sick of this. The team AND Kelly do their job to the best of their ability. We are not perfect but we do the best we can. Just because you don't see someone reprimanded here on your screen doesn't mean that things aren't being done behind the scene.

Steps ARE taken when we recieve a complaint, it may not be what a single perosn would do but that is why we have a TEAM, to discuss the problem and try to work out the best way to deal with things.

We DO value all of our members, whether they have lots of experience or not, but we will NOT be pushed into making a decision by a select few, just because they feel they know best. They often do not have the whole picture, they do not see the balancing act we try to achieve


Maybe it would be an idea to have a thread for Mods and Admin only (for obvious reasons ) to post about "complaints" and the outcome.

I don't mean to tell us all the ins and outs, but just some thing to say it has been dealt with by the Team.

Something like:-

Complaints have been received about Member 934 posting graphic images on each of their posts. The Team have advised Member 934 if any more do appear they will receive a ban.

Or

Member 411 has now been banned for repeatadly being rude in chat.

People know bits and pieces they pick up from posts and chat, and like Kelly says do not know the whole picture. A brief explanation would help to keep members informed whats going on and may even make the Mods and Admin Teams lifes a little easier by reducing speculation, gossip and guesses, just by letting members know complaints have been dealt with, or why a member has suddenly "dissapeared"

If this is out of order or offends anyone, my apologies, and the Team are quite welcome to delete it if so.

Just looking for a way to help the "unrest" that has happened recently.

In theory, perhaps a good idea Glynis, I'm sure members do want to know what goes on and what becomes of complaints, I have been intrigued myself before now, but the trouble is if we posted them all, then I am certain it would cause more trouble between members.

As I said before, people do not know everthing that goes on, we have to be diplomatic and use our own judgement, not just for the benefit of individual members but for Shelled Warriors as a whole as well.

I appreciate your thoughts and trying to help Glyn, things will settle down again in time, honest,that's the way of the internet

I'm sure if the person that complained could always pm a mod to find the outcome, it doesn't matter who it is they don't deserve to be posted like naughty school children
