Empty belly v full belly
Just weighed and measured Marly, 303 gms, 11.5cms so 0.199 on the Jackson ratio.
I am amazed though. Marly ate very little, if anything, this morning. Have just put some soaked pellets down thinking he must be hungry now. He polished off the lot. He is now showing a preference for pellets Ah, I thought, weigh him again and see what the difference is between an empty and full belly. New weight is 311 gms I was amazed at the difference. |

Yeah it does make a difference Glynis, like when they had a good poo. Sometimes i guess the Leopard Tort can loose half a kilo , but it ain't that much.

Tortoise weight of 303g plus the weight of the food they've just eaten, what else would you expect it to be?
Am I missing something? |
