You're more than welcome Star, as I've said before, Ruby's done all the work.

Oh and Evie, if only I had the room....

Kirkie,

as long as it was Ruby Ruby Ruby, Ruby then I am sure she was running to find some friends to share the experience with hehe

I am very greatful for all the hard work you have put into helping Ruby back on track...and me with feeling more settled and assured that I can help....I still remember the first day, how totally and utterly frightened I was..... I think back to that day and remember how far forward you have brought us both Thank you againnnnnnnnnnnnn

This story had such an unpleasant beginning...but because of you and Kirkie it is having a very happy end. I am so happy for you Star and I am in awe of Kirkie...well done to the both of you!

I have had some fantastic support from Shelled Warriors for a couple of poorly torts and that together with reading this thread has got me feeling a whole lot more optimistic and determined!

Thank you everyone, for all your wonderful comments, they really have helped loads

Tr@cey I am glad you feel more positive about the situation with the poorly torts you have, its a nice feeling when you can turn somewhere and get the help, in which ever way, that makes a difference and helps...I know without SW and the people in it, I would be feeling much more stressed and no way near as knowledgeable as I am now..more confident, which is worth its weight in gold.....and as for Kirkie, well without him I would be very lost and Ruby wouldnt have benefited to such a knowledgeable and extremely kind man that helped us both. I am eternally indebted to him

Thank you again everyone and Zen your very right, I really cannot wait for Ruby to come home and spoil her, I have felt really protective with her, and feel that after the things she experienced, that she deserves to have as much of a good life as possible..... I am blessed she has come into my life and hope to be a part of each others life's for as long as possible.....

Hi Everyone,

Thought it would be nice to let you all know that Ruby is home We've missed her loads and are very glad she is back

She looks like a new tortoise, much happier, more active and much much faster

She has settled in well, she had a good night, I kept checking on her, just to make sure she was ok, which she was............. and this morning she was running around eating everything she could find

Here she is with my youngest, after giving Ruby her bath I will add more pics as time goes on, to keep you updated on her progress

Sorry about the pic....it was from the phone and not the camera......

Wow, what a great story. Congratulations to Star, Kirkie and Ruby! I didn't think I could stand going on to the next page for fear of what might be there (e.g. the Cloacal Organ Prolapse sad ending), so what relief and gratification to find that this sickly little critter has made such a positive turn around! She looks so....normal! Hope the improvements just keep on coming
