Default Strange find in fodder bed

Look at this amazing fungus that I spotted today in one of my tortoise food beds in the garden. I went looking for Cat's Ear and found this instead.

Oh my goodness. You should have run a Christmas competition.

It looks like a plum in a cream filled tart.
Any idea what it is? Probably has a scary name.....

Did you see the fungus on Planet Earth....it is amazing. looked like Avatar film. Nature is incredible isn't it. And those locusts.. goodness ! 7 billion over 200 miles....don't leave bakewell tarts out in the rain for them then !
