After I typed my reply I wondered if that was what you meant. I wouldn't have a clue how to make wine. Before we married hubby used to brew his own beer. On the night of our wedding we stayed in the hotel and loads of the rugby lot gate-crashed our home and drank the lot! The few guests who had been invited to stay at our place as they'd travelled down for the wedding, let them have a full-on party and then the so and so's (being very polite here!!) showered, used all the towels, left them in a heap on the floor, put their cigarettes out on the carpet and threw the butts in my dried flowers (all the rage back in the mid-90's!!) and they even dared to open a couple of our wedding gifts. I was not amused when we got home the next morning!!
They'd all scarpered but I wasn't in a forgiving mood.

So....that's put me right off ever trying to brew anything again.

I've had a go at home made wine. I am not that fussy but mine was disgusting, so never again. Easier to buy..........

Would recommend sloe gin though - just a pile of sloes, sugar and bottle of gin. Makes nice Christmas presents. Nice on ice cream if too sweet to drink.

I have Schlar gluten free bread made from millet and quonia - I can not tell the difference and when fried bread and friend egg it's almost a favourite treat. I have a story about the Welsh rugby club, in Wales in a posh hotel, me in a bikini and a Jacuzzi.
One of those embarrassing moments in time .

Some one made sloe gin and did just that Jan, gave it to me at Christmas, I thought it was cordial and was so shocked it was so blooming strong ! wow not touched it again. Both of them a lesson to be learnt.

We have Genius bread still on prescription but probably not for much longer. Can't beat fried egg on toast!

I will be expecting further details on those red dragons and you in the Jacuzzi, Ms Brandy!

Never tried sloe gin. I'm such a lightweight I'd probably be drunk on one glass!
