If this is a hermans then it should have come with paperwork:0)
To be honest age really does not matter when it comes to tortoises. Keeping their shell smooth is far more important. And this tortoise has from what I can see, got a lovely smooth surface.
The missing foot will not harm or stop your tortoise doing normal things. But always wise to keep an eye on it, as there are no nails to help stop damage:0)

yes the tortoise isn't obstacled by the missing foot and seems healty, shell's also smooth but i never seen one so old yet so small.
there are new pics to well undertand his pattern. about paperwork i well know but my friend found it on the road and even without the mark painted on the shell i can say that isn't wild, here in North italy it's simply impossible. i checked but he has no microchip. anyway i'm a vet medicine student and i cooperate with a recovery wildlife center, with their help i'll surely find the best solution

The clearer photos make me think he is a Hermanns, albeit a small male, but as Sandy says, he has a lovely smooth shell.

In these pictures it looks like a completely different tortoise:0)
And would say female.

Oh, nice, now it's female the first photos were made in bad light condition so i'll consider your recent opinion.

Do you say female only because her tail or there is something else to look at? The anal scutes angle seems wide to me so i was thinking male.

thanks for help

I must admit I still think male, one for that reason, though cant see tail too easily and s/he isn't very big which females tend to be bigger and wider and there is a slight dip in her head which indicates male also, though there isn't a concave plastron which you would expect to see forming at that age if it were male but I do find hermanns quite difficult to sex.
