Wine recommendations.
We were looking for a nice wine today but know diddly squat about wine. We ended up getting lucky and buying a rose called villa garducci, it's really nice.
Could anyone recommend any nice wines? We like a sweet wine that doesn't taste like vinegar, sparkling is good, basically something that tastes like a soft drink with alcohol in it. We have tried some of these wines that top nobs recommend on TV and they are foul. Can you tell we're not that refined, we just want it to taste nice and gets you tiddly, we usually end up buying Lambrinni, but I feel ashmed taking it to the check out and it's not even that nice.

OH recommends the J.P Chenet wines - they do a sparkling rose as well as red and white. Not a wine drinker myself but he seems to like them

yeah the blossom hill white zinfandel is very good. I can't really drink but if driven to it by stress or something then I can be tempted by some wine.
A good buy at the moment is Jacobs Creek Chardonnay, 3 for £10 in Asda this week only I think. they are normally £6.49 each. PQ, Aldi has a wine that has cows on the bottle, it is a Reisling I think and it is sweet, my wife likes it but a bit sweet for me £3.49 |

Sainsbury's are doing a First Cape Sparkler 2 for a £10 sparkling fruity 12%, or Gallo family Chardonnay 13%.
