They're beautiful, looks like they're really enjoying their new home! I could sit for hours watching my tortoise when his house has been changed...such little explorers!

I agree Hurley
I think they know that Puddle is on the other side though and Puds knows they are on the other side because so far they have sat either side of the board sniffing and nudging it in the exact same places, but obviously each at each side... Its weird.... Thank you everyone else for all your lovely comments! xx |

It must have been makeover day today, I to have been to B&Q to get some plants, a plant saucer just like yours Kay for my Edgars bath, and some pebbles. Your table looks fantastic well done, mine will hopefully arrive tomorrow can't wait to set it up.
Are the ornamental grasses ok to put in then, I was looking at some today but wasn't sure if they were safe incase they were eaten but they look great. Can I ask why you have separated them, is it like quarantine or is it just because of the size difference? No wonder you didn't mind getting up this morning who would picking those two cuties up. |

The ornamental plants in mine don't get bothered with by my torts but If I were you, I would just watch them around it and make your own mind up. If they look like they are trying to chew on it or anything, move it out of reach! Only two of my plants, one from each side, are fake though, The connifers and spider plants are real I have separated them because they are from different places and they need a 6 month quarantine to make sure they are healthy before being introduced, you can only house tortoise's together after this and of course as long as they are the same specie! |

Hi Kay,
They will love their new home with you, and all that hard work will pay off, it is a fantastic table. Ade
