Default Looking for CB15/16 Horsfield or T.h Hermanni

I am looking for a young Horsfield or T.h hermanni as our first tortoise, but not until the first week of June. I'm busy getting things set up now, so everything will be in place when we are ready to bring our tortoise home.
I'd much rather get a CB from a breeder than a "who knows" from a pet shop, the less encouragement for WC for the pet trade the better, in my opinion.
Due to disabilities I am limited to the distance I can travel.I'm close to Blackburn, so; Manchester, Preston, Harrogate, is about my limit, so if you know of any breeders in that area who will have one ready at that time, please let me know.
Thanks.

If you would like a baby horsfield try send mark on here a message as I know he has some new babies he goes by the name 4chester he is sort of up your end of the world.
Also he is another odd person who keeps snakes you will get on well together.

We went to a exotic pet shop today, just for a look. Eldest decided that she thought the T.h H were much more appealing than the Horsfields. I don't know why, and she couldn't articulate why, they just called to her more than the Horsfields. So, it looks like the hunt is on for a T.h H somewhere in the North West.
I messaged Mark and he doesn't have any T.h.H. He has some Boettgeri, but I think they will be too big for us to house in the future.

I might have some eggs soon if you can wait.

I honestly don't know. I love the idea of getting one from someone on here, knowing it's been lovingly hatched and raised. But, I'm also pretty set on that first week in June, it just works well for a lot of reasons, including daughter's birthday is the 30th of May. I suppose it depends on just how long a wait, on what the rest of the family wanted.
Thank you for the offer though, I'll definitely keep it in mind.

It is reeeeeeeeeaally tempting, I love the idea of watching "our" tortoise from all the way from being laid to hatching, developing enough to come home with us....! So very tempting, but there is also the Verruca Salt bit of my brain going "I want it NOW!" It was so hard to leave the pet shop without anything, even though I know we can't get one till June.
Youngest has decided that if Eldest is getting a tortoise, they want a pet rat or two. Cool with me, I love rats, we just have to keep it away from the snakes!

THH are such compact gorgeous little torts that I can see the appeal for you. I'd definitely recommend you buying one from a breeder over an exotic shop so hope you can find a breeder or wait for one of Gordon's to be ready. I'm uselessly impatient too, so understand why you have a certain date in mind. I like everything to 'fit' too.
