Default Should you dry them after a bath?

Hi,

I have bought a 6 mth old Hermanns. I was wondering, should I dry him off after he's had his morning bath?

At the moment, I am gently dabbing him with a peice of kitchen roll and then putting him under his basking lamp to dry off.

Should I be doing more?

Thank you

Jen
