temporary accomodation
Hi all, following on from a previous thread this morning, is ripped up kitchen towel ok in an overturned flower pot ok for Darwin to sleep in while he's on newspaper?

Thank you! I didn't want him to be cold with nothing to dig in to. I'm waiting for a worm count test kit to come. Hopefully tomorrow.

It's ok on newspaper temporarily, I have had mine on it for 2 weeks before now, did them no harm xxx

Agreed , he will be fine temporarily , I keep my adults on news paper, occasionally , if they have to be indoors. It's just not a good idea long term .

No, as soon as I've done the test and got the results and he's either treated or all clear, he'll be back on substrate, I'm going to try the coco coir next. xx

Darwin is not so happy with his temporary accommodation today, I had to wake him up, he hasn't eaten his breakfast, he's just sitting there :'( I feel sorry for him, yesterday he looked ok in there and he ate his tea. x
