At least you can unpack your overnight bag and hopefully get your first vaccine in good time before you get another call. Keep up the plans for your new additions to your shelled family. xx

For the past three days when I logged onto the Forum here there have been no new posts. I figured you all had been holding your collective breaths waiting to hear about Gordon's latest hospital escapade!

Along with you, Gordon, I look forward to the day when it will all be overwith and your life can get back to normal (is there a 'normal'?).

At least you didn’t waste the fuel and weren’t gowned and ready this time. As Mary says, it would be good if you get the vaccine before going back in.
The irony of everything is that you’ll probably get the surgery done and finally end this saga of ops and return to your normal in a year that will be as abnormal as the last.

Hope you get good news on the delivery before too long and can share some lovely photos with us all.

Keep safe and well. x

Not sure what normal is nowadays Emma but then I'm sure I'm not alone with that one. One good thing is that now I know I'm not going in for a bit I seem to be sleeping for more than a couple of hours a night now which was really getting me down. There is nothing worse than being constantly tierd all day.

On a negative side I was all exited that I was going to play dress up even if it was only a gown then its all taken away.

Good that you're sleeping better. Sleep is so restorative and being deprived has such a negative effect physically and mentally.
Maybe you can jazz up your dress up when you do go in by slipping on your leather thong under the gown as a surprise for the theatre staff.

As much as I like to have a laugh I reckon that would be highly dangerous. I don't need the 11 inch scar I have getting any longer or bigger than it is now so a steady hand is needed. A surgeon laughing at me stretched out in front of him in my yellow leather budgie smugglers would just be a recipe for disaster.
