Default Spur thigh eggs.

Question time

When is the soonest you can see veins if the egg is fertile?
Is it normal that some eggs are whiter than others?
Am I right in thinking that I need to open the incubator for a few seconds every day for air exchange?

I am sure I will think of more questions as the days go by.

TIA

When they go white, its called chalking:0)
Which is a good indicator that the eggs are fertile.
When they are laid they have a pinkish tinge to them. Infertile eggs tend to stay pinkish.
I would say a couple of weeks and you should see something:0)
You could see something earlier, but might depend on the temps you are using:0)

how often or when you need to open the incubater depends on whether its a home made one or bought, if its bought with a fan then you don't need to open it, a home made one should have air holes so again doesn't need to be opened. What sort of incubater are you using?,

It is an egg-o-bator.
