what a big geranium for your tortoise Alan, like the picture a lot.

And love your garden TO. I would just cut a path in it to a tent and leave it. Do you hear jungle noises at night? CB

I think the disrepair did us abit of a favour, the property has been empty for afew years but somehow an old grapevine survived. i think because the broken glass allowed rainwater in, so the next greenhouse will have to be built around it. i read that tortoises like grape vine leaves bin bags might be a really good idea since that area will probably be the last bit we tackle. i heard vinegar is also pretty good for killing ivy and such due to its acidity.

My neighbour has a grapevine and always gives us a few handfuls of leaves which go down well with the torts. The actual grapes are not that great but they are human-edible.

I have a grapevine, and my tortoises will only eat the new leaves as they grow. If I try the older ones they refuse to eat them. Varitey if the spice of life:0)

Actually there's no need to wait.
