Out in the Garden
Here's a few photos of my torts enjoying the warmer, drier weather we've had today after a wet weekend.
Theo under his beloved Carex: Isabelle went to investigate if she could squeeze in the pot with Arabella.....she decided against it! Harriet under the Lavender with Esmé, who'd dug herself down. It took us a while to find her! Clara enjoying some time to herself: Tabitha under the rosemary: Florence having a little wander, enjoying all the space in the enclosure whilst the others were in pots or under shrubs: Tamara, just like Theo, loving her Carex: Oliver sunning himself: Oscar in his favourite position under his hebe: Hugo is scared of the sun I'm sure - he much prefers his little house than sunbathing!

What fantastic photographs Emma, your tortoises are gorgeous. I think you could write a book on their characters and lifestyle, CB

Yes, loads of sowthistle in the enclosures plus dandies, bittercress and clover. I sow them in the autumn, the enclosures are covered with plastic and up they come in the spring.

Thanks Suze and everyone else too.
I don't often get around to taking and posting piccies, so thought I'd grab the chance while they were in photographable (is that a word?!!) positions.

Really enjoyed your photographs. Lovely to show us your torts in all these different ways.
I must get some carex, this looks a lovely plant for dappled shade. I don't think I have ever seen it before.
