Default Directions...

Could anyone point me in the direction of any information on Yellow Pond Turtles (Mauremys mutica) and Malaysian Giant Pond Turtles (any variation thereof, as I can only find the latin name: Orlitia borneensis which comes up as Giant Black River Turtle... sigh!)

I realise as Red List species it's a long shot that anyone knows much about them but I'm struggling to find anything at all

I know nothing about turtles... So any information appreciated!

Some suggested reading:
1. The Ecology, Expoitation, and Conservation of River Turtles; Don Moll, Edward.O.Moll, published Oxford University press ISBN 0-19-510229-0
2. Turtle Conservation; Michael Klemens, published by Smithsonian Institution Press ISBN 1-56098-372-8
3. Biogeography of the Reptiles of South East Asia, Indraneil Das, published by Krieger, ISBN 0-89464-935-3
4. Turtles of Borneo and Peninsular Malaya Lim Boo, and Indraneil Das, published by Natural History book publications, ISBN 983-812-039-1

There is also, an international Turtle Conference being held in Munster Zoo later this month and there is at least one paper being presented on work with
Orlitia borneensis.
