Default Horsefield's age

Hi, I've had my Horsefield tortoise Rocky for about month now. She/he is 3.5 inches from head to tail and 128g in weight. Can you guys please try to estimate how old she/he is? Thanks!

You really can't tell the age of a tortoise from it's size and weight. They all grow at different rates and 2 tortoises of the same sex age and species can be totally different sizes even when kept together and treated the same way. My tortoise is 5 and a half inches and 423g and is 2 years 7 months.

I agree with pages queen, but estimate about 1 to 1.1/2 year old at a guess at that size and weight going on when my horsfields were around that size and weight x

Just to check, are you measuring your tort correctly? Place a piece of paper against the wall, push your tort gently against the wall until it's head is inside and the shell is touching the wall, then make a mark on the paper behind the tort. measure from edge of paper to mark.
