My youngest son really got into the whole hatching thing, candling and watching them develop, and when we could see the babies wriggle in the shell, it was fantastic. It is a wonderful experience for children and us.

We just candled the eggs, the yolks are sitting at the bottom of the eggs so I hope that's a good sign.

Not sure how good these pictures are but here we go.

That's exactly what you want to see in a fertile egg

Next time though you don't need to pick up the eggs to shine the torch in. Less chance of dropping if you don't pick up the eggs very often.

They look good to me as Danny says dont pick them up to candle them you should be able to shine the torch in at an angle to see what is happening
