Hi, have they been out in the garden recently? I'd also recommend separating then till Bilbo picks up.

They have been outside but they are in a huge plastic box (we have a courtyard and no grass) so everything that was in the area i put there my-self.
I cant seperate them as i only have one of everything as i got them together only 2 weeks ago and i dont have anything spare about |

I live in Bristol and it has been colder. Believe me, they are like little barometers at times. Outside temps when they go down, have a knock on effect on indoor temps. Light quality has been poor so again, this will not exactly stir them into activity.
Even when its nice weather - they are not active at all times of the day. But the weather does play a factor, even if it only slightly drops.n (This is what Al meant). And also, when its round the other way (and warmer) - then activity can increase. xx |

Agree with SS. Until you know if anything is wrong then you will possibly need to think about separation...

I just wondered if he's eaten something disagreeable whilst outside. Or maybe if he'd been stung or bitten by something? Can you see if anything's trapped in his throat? Also what sort of diet does he have - lots of fibre? Constipation can make them very lathargic. Longer bathing may help.

when they are in the wild they hide from the midday sun so if outside in the box they will need to be able to escape the sun

Hi Eremiel
Try not to worry, I agree with what has been said already, you've bathed him which is what I'd do, if you can get another continer to separate him it would be preferable. He could be constipated or have a stone, he could have eaten something toxic or stung and it may even just be the weather However I also agree that if he is not back to his usual self in the morning he needs to see a vet asap Fingers crossed tomorrow he will wake up, have a big poo and will be ok Let us know how is tomorrow? |
