janus is 10
pics of Janus taken on her 10th birthday party
Janus, a turtle on display at the Museum of Natural History in Geneva, Switzerland, has visitors doing a double take. She has two heads! The healthy Mediterranean spur-thighed tortoise was born in September. Janus can move both heads and munch salad with both mouths. She's named for Janus, a Roman god with two faces. So is the month of January. http://news.sky.com/skynews/picture_...3002-1,00.html |
