What age do Indian Stars start laying?
Hi there!
As you may already know, I got myself a pair of Indian Stars a couple of months ago. I was told they were 6-7 years old and unrelated. The female, as is normal for the species, is very big compared to the male. She's almost twice as heavy as him. I'm just getting a bit impatient, and was wondering when I could hope for them to start breeding? Is there anything I can do to "stimulate" them? |

I go by Weight. Never heard of one laying under 800g , which is a to small(in my opinion). More common is 950g and up. One of mine was 1300 or 1400g.

Thanks Andy. I think I've still got to wait then. She's only 675g at the moment... ah well...
