Over already?
Managed to get them out a lot during June July and te last two weeks. Having looked outside this morning it's misty and temp nudging 10deg.
So it seems as soon as I got them into a routine of being out they are going to have to start overnighting indoors again. Poor little fellas. |

lol mine have been outside 24/7 since the end of April. And are still outside even though we are now having "hop picking mornings". They start out coldish, but the sun comes up and my tortoises come out. They will have a few more weeks before I start bringing in the smaller ones. The adults are outside in the GH, still unheated so far, and come and go as they please. I do live in the SE which helps.

Away up here on the opposite corner of the east coast in Aberdeen, we are already at 19c this morning and it is supposed to be like this all week. This has been one of the best spring/ summers in a very long time up here. Hopefully it will last for a couple more weeks at least?

It still feels like summer here, it's been really good since the start of June, I remember it well cos I had my tooth pulled out and I sat in the garden all week in the sun. So a good long warm summer! Probably won't have another one for about 10 years

Although the sun is lower and takes longer to reach my garden and early evening, the girls always go out after a good bask and warm up in the shed, but go to be earlier now x
