Moved now darker
In my old house I had the torts in a wooden table in our conservatory which was light and heated. I used an Arcadia uv and heat lamp at one end of the table and a normal 60w bulb at the other for additional light.
This was fine. At my new house the conservatory is unheated and not suitable for the torts. The room they are now in is heated, but gloomy. Therefore the table seems gloomy. I want to upgrade my lighting and thinking spot lights may be the route. What do people suggest? The table is 5ft by 3 ft Btw they have an outdoor run too but bit cold here at the moment. |

Hi, I'm not really the one to advise on lighting, but I use Arcadia D3 strip lights, a T5 in one table and a T8 in my other one. They are different lengths.
Both tables have spot bulbs for basking area within a reflector. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Arcadia-FD3P...cadia+t5+uv+24 I'll add some more links now, every time I leave this tab, it deletes what I've written x
