Plans for a indoor tortoise enclosure
Hi all,
My sister bought an Barkshire 8 panel dog pen and now i want one for my Hermann's (Bought one off eBay so should arrive in the next few days) My Sisters is MASSIVE! It can fit both of us in it (We're quite big) and our two little dogs and there's still enough room for our border collie,It's quite tall too Well what i was going to do is,line the inside with pond liner and add lots of soil till it go's about halfway up and plant some grass seeds,a couple spider plants and some more stuffs,The heat lamp will be attached to a Reptile lamp stand & the UV strip can easily be attached too If it all go's to plan i might get one for my Leopard as it's maybe just a little bigger than a double wardrobe and will come up cheaper too. and best of all it flat packs so if my mum decides she wants to move again ( ) it can be easily flat packed within 3 minutes |

I would think that the netting is a little too thick to give good enough basking temps. They are made to keep dogs cool whilst inside so I'd suspect that they'd not be warm enough for torts.

Hi,
The netting at the top is removable so it won't be attached much |

The Pen came today and it MASSIVE!!
It's the same size as my sisters but it's about 6 - 8 inches taller so there's going to be plenty of soil for them to dig in |
