A little present to myself! Three T.c.bauri babies, god knows what i was thinking!

Thanks. No I never, some friends picked them up from a friend in Germany who had put us in touch with the breeder. We were told that they are 2011 babies.

Very nice Richard. Do you have C Kenneth Dodds book on box turtles? Lots of great natural history information on T.C Bauri.

Thanks. Not yet but I do have The complete north American box turtle by Carl Franklin & David Killpack which was inspired by Dodds book and recommends it so it is on my to get list.

Thats a great book too. A lot of Dodd's fieldwork was spent studying Bauri in the Florida keys so the book is packed with observations to translate into captive care.

Been looking at Dodd's book on various web sites. There seems to be a massive variation in price between the paper back and the hard back. There is no other reason why apart from the obvious is there?
