Advice on Mud's please
Ok peeps, just looking for a bit of advice really.......my lfs has 4 Eastern Mud Turtles in stock, and have been interested in them for a while now.......i had them out today looking at them and was told they are suffering from a bit of shell rot .......never seen it myself so dont know what exactly i am looking for........anyway, if it is shellrot, is it treatable, if so how........but also would it be a mistake to buy them already knowing this........
I know it soound selfish, and i dont mind spending the cash to take them on and get them right, but having never experienced this i just want to know what to expect really...... They are priced at £45 EACH......but was told i can take 2 for £37.50 EACH........sounds expensive to me, but not sure what the pro's think on this matter cheers phil |
