"Extinct" turtle found.
BANGKOK – The rare Arakan forest turtle, once though to be extinct, has been rediscovered in a remote forest in Myanmar, boosting chances of saving the reptile after hunting almost destroyed its population, researchers said Monday

Apparently it's the second rarest turtle in the world after the adult male Ornate Box Turtle, which I now believe do not exist.

it was on radio yesterday that they have found a whole bunch of new animals somewhere including a giant rat
