When I got my tort he had been living on beech chips so I after some top soil. Unfortunatly all the ones I have come across even at our local B+Q hav had make your plant massive chemicals in. I saw this on ebay and wondered if anyone had tried it??

It says its top soil mixed with play sand sounds ok just wanted an opinion.

Hi lesley, this is the soil i use for pebble my horsfield, i have never had any problems with it and pebble seems to like it as he is forever disappearing digging down into it! i use it in his inside and outside tables.

Hi Lesley, I used this with my horsfield and it really irritated my Willows eye. I changed to B&Q sterilised top soil, its chemical free and I spray it with a plant mister when it looks dry and have had no probs with Willows eye ever since. Hope this helps.

Yup, go with what Clare said, its what I have too and I think you will find most get theirs from B & Q or Homebase or the like, anyway. Wouldnt bother with ebay for this.
