i don't think so, was thinking that, but he was always asleep during the day when my son had him. Was gonna put a ceramic bulb on there but thought the radiator would be simular and it isn't that far from the hole he went into.

Hubby has just come home with the pinkys

Just read to knock all the heating off, to make the house really cool and put a heated pad near where he went. So that is what I've done. I have a pinky in a cardboard box with a little hole for Lispa to get in. Anyone got anymore ideas?

Should I put a small container of water out too, I'm thinking he may be dehydrated? I don't really have a clue about snakes, as he is my sons, and even tho I like them it wouldn't be something that I would keep.

Good luck getting him back, I thought our hamster getting out was bad but this sounds a lot more hassle

I had given up hope on him to be honest, as I had looked everywhere, I have pulled my whole house apart looking. I thought he had got out and died in the cold, but now I'm frantic again until i get him back in his viv

Yes you can put a water dish in the box Michelle. If you want to make sure he stays in the box after the meal , make sure the hole you make is smaller than the pinky. That way when he eats the pinky, he can't get back out through the hole.

Great news you've seen him Shell! I hope he shows again soon, I'd be camping out on the sofa if I knew there was a snake loose in the bedroom!!
