I bought a wild flower book to help identify edible weeds but every time I take it weed-picking, it rains so for the time being, I've adopted the 'if in doubt, leave it out' approach!

Good plan, I will get one this weekend!
Today she has had.... plantain dandelion a red clover flower petunia flower (turned her nose up at it lol) yarrow bindweed flower (not impressed) hawkbit.. her fav yesterday she had the same but with some opuntia cactus (still pulling spikes out of ny fingers lol) she doesnt seem to eat a lot really, and she much prefers grazing for herself, do you think its the limestone flour/nutrobal she is objecting to? xxxlisxxx |

could be.... years ago i had a nasty spray form of nutrobal calcium stuff... my tort refused to eat anything covered... you only need a dusting of it... if the nutrobal is off it STINKS!!!!!
unusual for a tort to refuse a petunia but if they are not used to them they sometimed take a while... same as if fed on pellets and introduced to weeds..they do huff a fair bit
