Well guys I must be the most unfortunate person when it comes to getting a t-rex light because, I have just come off the phone to my Mum who as you know recently got a tortoise too.

Well, her t-rex which I ordered for her arrived last Thursday, it was set up on Friday and burned in before use, and by Tuesday afternoon when she got in from work it had blown.

I even got it from a diffferent on line store from where mine came from so guess what, I have to do tommorrow??????

Pets Parade it's your turn for a call.

T-rex, not getting a good review here from me, so really dissapointed and disgusted.

We are both using ceramic bulb holders with heat resistant cable in them, so I cant see that this is the cause of the problems.

Thanks guys for the sympathy and trying to find reasons why this is happening.

My problems flickering on and off were happening even without the pig lamp shade on, so thats not a problem either.

The diameter of this shade is approx 12" which is as the lamp specifies 10" diameter.

Just to update you all, Pets Parade have sent out a replacement bulb for Mum which should be with her on Monday.

My bulb is off to Underworld for testing, and I have ordered a spare off Dazza, I have been assured by Underworld this is not a regular occurrance, just unfortunate that this has happened twice to me, fingers crossed that will be the end of all the problems, but it has been reassuring to know that the guarentee is honoured.
