............opinions please
So Quinn seems to be rather sensitive to all forms of substrate, currently in top soil but im thinking (and this is where opinions are requested).........
If i take him completely out of the top soil and maybe cover the bottom of his tabe with just newspaper would he be ok for a wee while to give his eyes a break from any irritant etc?? im keeping the soil damp to reduce dust as much as possible but thinking he needs a complete rest. Ive tried aspen, beech chips top soil/sand mix and now just top soil but his eyes some times look better next time really puffy. what do you think??? its maybe only for a week or two to see how it goes. |

Sorry to hear that when mine was tiny she used to rub her eyes a bit but is fine now but I really wouldn't like just using paper . Not sure what others think x

just can't decide what is best to do Im going to get the eye drops Stells (Kelly) recomended but i do think the soil is irritaiting his eyes aswell at moment, he only had a slate log hide, log climbing roll thing left in him table, the temps are fine, his poos and urates are fine other than he is eating very little but i think its because he isnt seeing proper.
i think i will go for newspaper, for a week and try and get his eyes back to normal. A vet will just say eye drops so i'll try that if that doesnt work then mmmm cross that bride if it come. |
