It's almost unbelievable. There's no way he's talking himself out of this one. I'll be on his back constantly now and the club will be receiving a formal letter of complaint. He even has a child himself, so you'd think he'd take good care of the juniors. Ironically he's on the website as being the child protection officer. Hmmmm.....

I'm on it Wendy!
He's dropped himself in it well and truly and I'd imagine he's trying to work out how to save face but what he did was wrong and out of order. It's common sense that no one stands in the buggy. I have lots more questions to throw at him yet. When I asked what he'll do if I get it clearly clarified that passengers must be seated (which I will!) his reply was that he'd need to seek advice from the manager, not that he'd apologise or ensure it never happens again.
I'll be interested to see what stance the club takes on this as if he's clearly flouted the rules and regulations, I would have thought they'd be concerned for the reputation of the club, especially as I have a big mouth!

Well after asking for advice from England Golf, I heard back from them today to tell me that they're supporting my complaint and will be informing the PGA of the matter. That'll add a little weight to my letter of complaint.
I'll let you know what happens.

I'm not surprised they are taking the matter seriously and the PGA wont be happy. They are very supportive of young golfers and wont take too kindly to this man's behaviour.

Thanks everyone. He certainly deserves a dressing down and I don't think the PGA are going to be happy. I've sent a copy of my letter of complaint to the compliance officer at England Golf and he'll be sharing it with the PGA. The coach needs a rollicking, even if he isn't sacked. I wish they'd promote the other pro-coach as he's great with kids, and demote the crap coach.
Somehow I suspect we'll cut links with the golf club now and the children will play and have lessons elsewhere. I could never let them be near the tosspot again.
