They sound gorgeous! Well done for rehoming.
It'd be great to see some photos when you get the chance.

Glad to be dipping my toe into the forum water, better than lurking
I love the names you all have for your animals - not just torts. Becci you said I have quite a collection of torts. That made me think of animal collectors and 87 year old ladies with 115 cats ... and one litter tray! I hope that will never be me Mind you my daughters keep saying when I'm in my dotage I'll probably start bringing the donkeys into the house. We have loads of them too I say why wait till my dotage!

Will post pics as soon as I can, we have 18 amazing donkeys here - each with their own back story. They are fantastic animals

For some reason I can't reply about hens
But our ducks are 15 mallards who live on the pond in our field & come up to the yard twice a day for feeding
My post might surface somewhere lol

It all sounds just perfect. I love keeping chickens and only wished I had room for ducks too.
Really looking forward to seeing photos.

Hi there - I'm in Scotland too but don't have 18 donkeys. They are lovely creatures though and I know in some parts of the world they suffer at the hands of human beings.

Welcome to SW!
