Hi
Hi, I'm Larry from Malaysia. Sarah asked me to join this wonderful forum and here I am. 15 years ago I was presented with a lovely pair of captive bred Star Tortoises as a wedding present. I've named them Patsy & Sean respectively. They have produced little ones on several occassions and their offspring are being kept by some of my friends and relatives.
I recently acquired a pair of juvenile Red Footed Tortoise and a pair of Sulcatas. I've enclosed some pictures for your viewing pleasure. I just love animals and at present my home is like a mini zoo. I have Tropical fish eg. Asian Dragon Fish, Tiger Fish, Knife fish etc, a dashshund, 2 parrots (a Yellow Crown Amazon and an African Grey), a Crowned Hornbill, a red-whiskered bulbul and a straw headed bulbul. Recently I had to obtain Special Permits from our local Wildlife Department to keep my pets due to the recent enactment of the INTESA act in Malaysia. It was very tiring but I had to obtain the permits to avoid confiscation. All my pets are F2 and beyond with the relevant CITES import permits. Getting the permits was not the problem but it was a real hassle and time consuming. I hope to be able to be able to learn from you Chelonian guru's here. Check out my pets at Quote:
