Default Ebay

I think this is almost beyond belief when you read the description. Is there anyone that is able to take the tortoises on - poor animals will probably have some major health issues.

Ebay Item Number: 300881726859

The link was too long to copy and paste, but the above should find them on eBay. The seller says he is not selling them as eBay removed them previously, hence why they remain on there.

this one?

saw it on face book

that is SO horrifically cruel!!! not only is the viv too small for 1 of those 2 but to just abandon them? so cruel!

actually think they should be reported to the RSPCA, make sure these tortoises wont just end up abandoned!

Yes that is the one. I guess perhaps its a good job it was the same one as that does mean that there is only one such horrendous listing/item, no doubt there are many others though, sadly.

Have just read the advert. Perhaps someone close by will offer to rehome them, sadly they are not near to me.

For gods sake the laziness, absolute cruelty and downright nastiness of some people!!

I was wondering what the fuss was about until I read the left in the garden bit

Judging by the £400 price tag I think the tortoises will be going with the tank, it's just their way around the Ebay rules. still not right though.

How appalling!! I hope the RSPCA respond quickly to your email Cris and take the torts to rehome them with people who can care for them properly.

Just had a look Cris, dont know if its been ammended? what did it say aabout garden? The torts dont look too bad, but are a species that would need paperwork, so I guess they probably have none!

Its been amended, it said that once the viv had been sold he was going to set the tortoises free in the garden and hopefully someone would pick them up and care for them
