I'm not leaving....
I just wondered why people announce that they are leaving a forum? If they are not happy with the replies they get etc, surely, you either take it on board, ignore or merely just read and leave it at that. People argue all the time, but its a lot easier when using a keyboard instead of face to face! You don't need to leave, do you?
I am an infrequent poster, but that doesn't mean I don't read other posts. Everybody has something useful to add, and instead of saying you're leaving, just don't post if it causes you to get wound up over something. I'm on another forum (under a different name) and have had arguments, particularly over turtle keeping when someone hasn't liked what I've said. NB - this is not aimed at anyone, but I just wanted to put my "opinion" forward. |

They announce they are leaving to see how many posts they can get asking them to stay, little ego boost for them.
If you really wanted to leave you'd just leave, not make big announcements about leaving. |

everyone is always going to have different opinions on things, thats what makes it interesting to me, in my very humble opinion anyway.
If people don't agree, I like to hear why they don't agree and I love to hear the different opinions on things especially if other people are finding they work well. It does come across sometimes like people have a bit of an attitude but that's the problem with written word...I'm staying and if people don't like the way I do things then tough, ignore me hehe!! |

You said.."...ignore me" I meant, as in 'who are you?' joke...

I don't post that often but I do like to read the posts.
I'm wondering what all the fuss is about. Nobody forces anyone on here to stay or go. I will continue to come on and browse and have a little input if I feel like it!!
