Sorry Hazel, didn't see your post! I'm sure the bulb will be fine, sounds pretty plausible , hey, let us know how it is? If it's duff then you can tell the seller that you use this forum and we'd all be very interested to know why she's selling a faulty bulb

Burning the bulb in now (for 12 hrs before putting in with torts)...seems to be working fine, no flickering or anything.
