FOUND - small male horsefield, Nantwich Cheshire
OWNER FOUND AND TORTOISE GONE HOME THANKYOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP
Hello Im going to put up a 'help' thread regarding this little one but I thought it should go in here too. Tonight a man that lives behind my house knocked on my door asking me if I had lost a 'turtle' he was holding a shoe box in his hand. He then said that it had dug underneath his garden fence. Seeing as Ive had reptiles (of the gecko variety) for a number of years I thought I would be better looking after it until his owner was found that someone who thought he was a turtle. It turns out the 'turtle' was in fact a 6inch long tortoise, I *think* its a male horsefield. We have rung the police and the local veterinary hospital and registered him with the national register (found the number on this website) as found. So if you have lost a tortoise in the Nantwich area of Cheshire, (the area in which he was found is quite specific and would be a definate as to ownership) then please pm me.
