Well, well, well. It seems we have a closet turtle geek lurking in our midsts...
Firstly an apology. Maybe the suitability of feeder plants wasn't ideal matter for a quiz. A lot of it is based on personal experience I know so I've just gone with what I do. So please don't use it as a feeding guide, its just for fun . I also hope the pictures were of what I hope they were. Oh well here goes... Q1 - Turtle - Wood Turtle Q2 - Terrapin - Pearl River Map Q3 - Turtle - Fly River/Pig Nosed Turtle Q4 - Tortoise - Bowsprit Tortoise Q5 - Turtle - Painted Wood Turtle Q6 - Terrapin - D'Orbigny's Slider Q7 - Tortoise - Ploughshare Q8 - Tortoise - Parrot beaked or areolated Tortoise Q9 - Tortoise - Parrot Beaked or aerolated Tortoise (hatchling) Q10 - Flowerback Box Turtle Q11 - Spurge - dont feed Q12 - Dandelion - Feed Q13 - Oxalis - Dont feed Q14 - Clover - Feed Q15 - Ivy - Dont feed Q16 - Ragwort - Dont feed Q17 - Smooth Sow Thistle - feed Q18 - Groundsel - Dont feed Q19 - Speedwell - Feed Q20 - Wild Violet - Feed There were lots of entries this week and lots of people on 17 but to cap a week in which she became a SW moderator and entirely unconnected to that in any way, BINDI is this weeks winner with 19 points. Well done Bindi your prize is... a box Turtle! A Terrapene Carolina Putnami in fact (google it ) And thanks to everyone who entered this ramshackle farce. See you next week Last edited by Kirkie; 05-10-2009 at 12:11 AM. |

Everyone did great Star and its was very hard to judge because Linda knows more about plants than I ever will and EgyptianDan said they were all turtles (joke Dan) He actually sent me all the Latin names! .
