Over the last week or two a Mr and Mrs black bird have moved into my garden and made themselves very at home, they seem to love my garden, they have his and her baths several times a day in the tortoise water dishes , and I have put out a dish of bird seed, which they help themselves to, they seem to be quite happy to share the garden with me even when I'm out there. We have named them Richard and Judy. They never share the bath, and Judy loves her dip, and has a proper spa. They really are very entertaining , and we are loving their visits, and will be very sad when they're gone.

They're lovely to watch aren't they? We have two pairs that come in each morning for breakfast. I love to watch them while I eat my own.
Love the names - Richard and Judy - ours are just referred to as Mr and Mrs Blackbird.

There was a big fat pigeon in the garden this morning, eating all the seed, Judy was not at all happy!

Hee...I'm sure you could have fallen and we should take that seriously but it's such a funny image of you up on a ladder with a pigeon on your head, G!!
Better than blinking seagulls though. Oh I don't miss living near them, pests!!

Poor Judy! I bet she wasn't!
We had loads of starlings flock in after the rain to get the worms. Quite amazing to see so many all at once.

So why is it a funny image
I'm sure loads of people go up ladders in their cammo mankini and get mistaken for a tree.

My poor brain - it can't cope with that image, G!
Bad enough on the other thread when you said you were 'hard' and I likened you to Bruce Willis or Jason Statham, just wearing a Mankini!
