I know you like the idea of the loin cloth Gordon but surely you would not roast those little torts?
When in Rome

Yes I probably would if that was what everyone else ate after all there are a lot of people on here and in the world that keep chickens as pets and still eat chicken so not a lot of difference.

Yes, I see what you mean.

I used to eat goose until I kept them!

Perhaps also a bit like eating beef but then being horrified that people eat horses.

That was funny Jan I thought you were referring to the loin cloth as 'how horrid'! Was it Ursula andress in some cave film I fell asleep in once.
I must admit when I was in London they ate rabbit a lot years ago. (why does everyone say everything unusual tastes like chicken....) And I had a 'lucky' rabbit foot on a chain/keyring could you imagine your little niece/nephew sticking one under your nose these days! poor bunnies , CB

I'm not sure why they call it "lucky." It's anything but lucky for the poor bunny. Hehe

Er....I'm lost! Where does Jimmy Nesbit come into this?
I remember sawdust on the butchers floor and whole carcasses hung up as the norm. Not so many of the traditional butchers about now.
