Unhappy I have got a cyst...*again I think*

...on my breast. Swelling also round the duct.
Doc has checked it out. Made an appointment within 2 weeks for the Breast Clinic...in Bristol.

I am terrified...

Lily.... Is my distraction. As always... My lifeline.

Thoughts drift though.... Help me SW friends as I'm close to falling apart with thoughts of the big C....

xx

The only thing I can say Yuna is that the 'vast majority' of breast lumps are not caused by cancer, there are many more likely causes. Try to stay positive and don't get yourself too wound up...Like you said, concentrate on torty.

I'm so distracted, Clare it's unreal... I keep thinking it's the C...

If anyone can tell me what a C lump feels like...

This is a big plum sized thing... But also the duct swollen.

Why me....!!!!

I even started thinking earlier about Lily...
And I cried so hard....

Big hugs from me too. You've done the right thing getting the ball rolling with appointments at the hospital. I understand how the waiting is often the worst bit though. My best friend has had a number of cysts in her breast, the latest only this year. The breast care unit are excellent at reassuring her and draining them when they need it.
My husband had the big C a few years ago. It's a scary time but the care available nowadays is excellent and they act very quickly.
I'd advise you to relax as much as you can, eat well, treat yourself and talk about any concerns you have - whether with a close friend, member of the family or on here if it feels safer.
Take care and lots of hugs x

Its so unfair You just need to try to stay positive. I had all sorts of lumps and bumps when I fed my babies myself, due to milk blocking the ducts, it could just be an infection of some sort. xxx
