All my friends do it, both on purpose and by accident !
I go round to their house, and they sit and tell their parents about it :
"Hey mum, how cute is Emilys turtle?!"
It drives me mad ! Everytime somebody looks on my phone and sees my pictures of Harri, they insist its a turtle, and when I correct them they say "same thing!"
!!!

I'm in the same boat, our friends always say 'look at the turtles' or 'wheres the turtles gone, do they not wanna go for a swim' I'm they are tortoises not turtles, and tortoises dont swim under water they dont have webbed feet. It's soooooooooooo annoying! x

I get that but from my boyfriends neice, I let her off though coz shes only 3! The one i get most is 'what do you feed them? Lettuice? That gets on my nerves a bit but now I just made it worse as my new tort is called Lachuga which is spanish for lettuice inspired by the fact everyone askes if we feed her lettuice,l now they think we are weird as she dosent even eat the stuff!!
